FILM LABS at Cannes Film Festival
Momentum Starboard Film Labs are invitation-only, production-led environments in which emerging and established creators develop cinematic work inside live cultural contexts—not classrooms. The Labs place participants directly into the realities of professional filmmaking: disciplined location work, performance under constraint, legal and festival considerations, and high-stakes narrative decision-making, all guided by working producers and directors. Each Lab culminates in tangible screen assets rather than theory—scenes, showreels, or concept trailers designed specifically for festival, financing, and market conversations. The emphasis is on craft, judgment, and authorship, training filmmakers to operate credibly within the professional ecosystem while retaining creative control.
Film Lab at Festival de Cannes 78°, 15th to 17th May 2026.
